Moon Technolabs 10th Anniversary Annual Trip Excerpts

It was a great moment and time for each one of us. The entire team was conjoined in this so-called excitement, fun, and celebration that we didn’t even realize where the long weekend went! I believe some of us are still in water rides or the theme park of Imagica or probably still wandering around the lush grass fields and small hills surrounding the entire region. The evening rain showers added a cherry on top of the cake. Yes, our annual trip to the Western twin hill station to Lonavla & Khandala was super-fun! 

I know, you wish to dig deep into the trip details, so without waiting for further ado, let’s begin with the 1st day of the trip.

Our journey began with the overnight drive from our office in Ahmedabad to Imagica & Lonavla, which we reached by morning breakfast time. The hearts were filled with excitement and joy which didn’t promote the sleep but instead were awake mostly playing dumb charades, cards, etc. Another hour or so drive after breakfast, we reached our final destination. After a quick check-in process and refreshments in the “Novotel” – we spent the afternoon relaxing by swimming pool and few of us who couldn’t resist, have had their hands tried on table tennis, foosball table, snooker, Xbox Kinect games, etc. Our indoor enthusiasm was quickly scaled to sightseeing and doing some adventure out in nature. Through ‘Sahyadri ranges’ and the ‘Ghats’ of Tiger Hill and many others in the western part we spent the rest of the evening watching waterfalls & sunset. The mouthwatering delicacies and the variety of food at the dinner – made the night!

The breakfast was unusual. It felt like we were caged in a bakery, aroma wise and a bread factory, size-wise. The morning breakfast was a bliss especially after all our energy soaked by the poolside in the morning swim session. Then, we had the most exciting morning of the year because it was time to cherish accomplishments as an individual, as a team and yes of course, as a company. Soon after a while, the conference room emptiness was filled with the sound of clapping as our CEO, Mr. Jayanti Katariya took the stage and began with the annual rewards & recognition speech. Every one of us, who received the award and who didn’t, got the chance to be a part of the stage and share the amazing moment of Moon Technolabs celebrating 10+ years at the annual awards ceremony. We got to know so many things from Project Managers, Team Leaders about the exposure they had during the inception and the facilities, infrastructure, and projects that we have today in Moon Technolabs -the contribution from everyone that let the company become the top mobile app development company. Lastly, the award celebration ended on a high note with a short speech from Mr. Jayanti K about the future of the software industry and how the company is going to be involved with projects based on emerging and trendiest technology.

A short refreshing break after the award ceremony and we quickly centered at a point to go to Imagica. All the rides of the theme park and water park were the two milestones that we needed to achieve by the end of the day. Starting from high in the sky to an enclosed in a pitch dark light, all the rides were thrill, fun, scary, exciting and a few hilarious ones! Water gunboat fights to dinosaurs to save the gold from thieves fight..each moment was amazing. Head was spinning for a few, some were wet from the water rides and almost all of us didn’t want that evening to end. We all returned as a bunch of kids who played mischief and pranks on each other throughout the whole day! A refreshing tea and drink provided us with the necessary stamina to reach our hotel and get ready to set back home.

In the evening on our way back home, for dinner, we loaded our tummy with cheese-filled pizza’s – the perfect way for our body to regain the energy. Besides everything, the annual trip has raised positivity amongst all of us and grew our bond stronger together as a team. This is going to help all of us attain a new height of success and growth by the next year!
